Top 6 Product Picks to Simplify Your Home
Technology can be a bit overbearing sometimes, but if it can simplify life, I am all about it.
My husband is an IT guy and he’s really into gadgets. Anyone that knows him, knows that he’s always coming up with some new product to try out. His goal is to make our house a smart house and let it work for us.

Here’s a few great products we purchased recently that really have made things a little easier:
1. Motion Sensor Plug-In Night Lights
If your kids are like mine, they leave every light on in every room. These motion lights are great because there is no need to flip the switch. We have them in all of our hallways and bathrooms.
2. EvoVacs Deebot Robot Vacuum Cleaner
When I complained about not getting enough help with housework, this little gadget showed up. LOVE IT!
We have it programmed so it’s done while we are at work. Love coming home to clean floors! It can even mop floors, but I haven’t really tried that yet.
The only issue I’ve had is that my daughter has super thick hair and tends to shed. Every once in awhile I have to clean out the rollers, but that happens with any vacuum.
This little beauty is smart phone app and Alexa voice controlled. Which brings me to our next must have.
I know a lot of people have Alexa nowdays, but are you using it to its full potential? We have them on each floor and use it as an intercom system. We use it with our Nest programmable thermostat. And, of course to run our vacuum!
4. Matone Outlet Wall Mount Stands
If you use Alexa, this outlet wall mount stand is wonderful. No messy wires to look at.
5. Signstek Keyless DIgital Door Locks
We went keyless a few years ago and will never go back. No more worrying about losing keys or letting someone in when you aren’t home. You can even program short term codes for contractors or cleaners.
6. Garage Bike Lift by RAD
Where to store our bikes has always been a problem. They either take up too much space in the garage or were fastened overhead and really difficult to get down.
These hoists are great because anyone can take them down or put them up. No ladders or extra help so my kids can do it. Being so easy, we find that we actually ride more.
Stay tuned, he’s always coming up with something and if it simplifies life, I will share it!
